The two principles
of Central Highland Builders, David Smith and Barry Keenan, formed Central
Highland Builders to design, build and develop residential communties
as well as individual custom homes. Central Highland Builders
is the DBA name for Cental Highlands, Inc., the official name of the company.
To date the company has built and sold over 96 homes with an additional
29 homes planned in two projects on Bainbridge Island. A brief description
of each project, in the neighborhoods
section, following this introduction summarizes the history of Central
Highland Builders. The two principles come from successful careers in
design, development and home building.

All of our projects
have met their financial obligations in full and on schedule. References
are available upon request and include 1st National Bank of Bremerton,
now merged with Kitsap Bank, and 1st National Bank of Port Orchard, now
a subsidiary of Interwest Bank and Pacific Northwest Bank.

We are 9 year members
of the Kitsap Home Builders Association, which is a part of the National
Home Builders Association. Our suppliers and subcontractors include, Parker
Lumber Co., Ace Paving, Fred Hill Concrete, and so on. These companies
have been part of all of the projects developed by Central Highland Builders
and references are available upon request.

Our company is committed to building and developing in
accordance with the most environmentally sound development, construction
and waste management methods available. The Kitsap Home Builders Association
has developed one of the most advanced green building and development
programs in America, titled Build a Better Kitsap. We are
charter members and have enrolled all the homes we have built since the
programs inception. We have contributed to the creation of the second
phase of Build a Better Kitsap a green land development program.
The plat of Weaver Creek was the first land development project to follow
the green development program and was featured by the National
Green Building Conference, May 18, 2001 in Seattle for its pioneering
efforts in following green development practices.
